For over 130 years, the faithful members of St. John's United Church of Christ have shared in the ministry of God's creation. Set in the beautiful hills of southern Gasconade County, this faith community continues to grow and thrive. The activity and ministry of this congregation reflect the genuine faith and hospitality of its members. From our 'world famous' picnics held in May and August (pictured at right), our Vacation Bible School that has included over 50 children, the large participation in the annual CROP Walk, to our Jamaica partnership mission, the activities focus around building relationships with friends and neighbors. St. John's church offers Sunday School with classes for all age children as well as adults. Youth group activities including mission trips such as our mission trip to Fairland, Indiana in July 2003. Fellowship includes the Pairs & Spares, two youth groups, Yoga, and the weekly quilting group. The church continues to grow and in the Fall of 2000 cut the ribbon during a Worship of Dedication on a newly expanded Church Building which nearly doubled class and worship space.
